Bush Manual of Dissenter Countermeasures Discovered During Lawsuit
The contents of a book entitled The Presidential Advance Manual has surfaced during the lawsuit of four people who were removed from a public event attended by George Bush because of dissenting messages on a car bumper sticker and two t-shirts.
The manual dictates that 'rally squads' made up of Bush volunteers should be employed to drown out protesters and prevent them from being seen on TV cameras. Other suggestions include preventing "negative publicity" at events which Bush attends.
It is claimed the measures are not aimed at disrupters but at citizens who are exercising their democratic right to disagree with presidential policies. The lawsuit is being filed by the American Civil Liberties Union on behalf of the four claimants.
